Thomas Feiner
Thomas Feiner, QEEG-Diplomate, is the founder and director of the Institute for EEG-Neurofeedback (IFEN) in Munich, Germany. An early pioneer of Neurofeedback in Germany, Feiner runs a cutting-edge center offering brain-based assessments such as QEEG and Event Related Potentials. Internationally recognized as an expert instructor and speaker, Feiner teaches Neurofeedback and Neuromodulation techniques for medical professionals and other practitioners globally. He founded the QEEG Research Unit, analyzing over 5,000 EEGs from meditators, and has published on neurofeedback, brain health, and human performance.
At the IFEN-Neuroscience Lab, one of Germany’s largest private neuroscience research facilities, Feiner develops and invents innovative tools for neurotherapy, including the cognitive function monitoring program “CAPITO” and the ERP-Analyzer for measuring Event-Related Potentials. He is also involved in pioneering research on Heartbeat Evoked Potentials (HEPs), exploring heart-brain interactions. Feiner is a trendsetter for new applications in the world of neurofeedback like virtual reality, and multisensory feedback aiming to enhance training effectiveness. Besides his busy schedule he is also a board member of the Foundation for Neurofeedback and Neuromodulation Research, which supports researchers in the wide area of Neurotherapies.
Summit Session:
Discover the Hidden Power of Your Brain: Insights from 10,000 Brain Maps
Have you ever wondered what the most exciting organ in our body is truly capable of? A tiny amount of tissue has just begun to give us answers and a technology called Brain Mapping is a key tool to understand the Brain in a much better way. Prepare to embark on an enlightening journey into the world of EEG brain mapping with Thomas Feiner, a leading expert in neurofeedback and applied neuroscience. In this talk, you’ll explore the fascinating world of brain activity through the lens of cutting-edge technology. EEG brain mapping isn’t just a revolutionary tool for medical diagnostics; it’s a window into the very essence of our cognitive and emotional experiences. Thomas Feiner has dedicated his career to uncovering what is the driving power within our neural networks, seeking to answer one crucial question: How can we enhance brain function by understanding the language of brainwaves? With his brain research team, Thomas has mapped the brains of over 5,000 meditators, providing unprecedented insights into the neurological basis of mindfulness and altered states of consciousness. This research has revealed how consistent meditation practice can literally reshape our brains, enhancing focus, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. But this talk isn’t just about scientific discoveries. It’s about the untapped potential lying dormant within your own mind.
